I'm interested in this job, what should I do?

  1. Click "Apply now", login (or create a free account first) and send your CV and motivation. If you have questions regarding the job also use Apply now, type down your questions and don't include your CV (yet).
  2. We send your response without delay directly to the employer / agency (without any costs) and you'll receive a Cc in your mailbox. In your personal menu you can backtrack responses you sent in the past.
  3. The employer processes your response and contacts you.
  4. Hopefully there is a match and you meet in person to talk more about this job.

What happens exactly with my response or application?

Your response with CV and motivation is send directly to the employer. From that point all communications between you and the employer are direct, IT-Contracts is not involved in the actual matching process and we don't charge anything to anyone when a match is made.

How about costs?

For IT contractors our service is completely free! We get paid by employers and agencies for allowing them to advertise within the IT-Contracts network.

As long as a job is online, you can be sure it is still open for response. Employers post and delete their own vacancies actively. Off course it is possible that someone has responded before you and is in the middle of negotiating with the employer. Most positions are filled within a couple of days, sometimes even hours. In the job details you can see when the job was posted and find more (contact-) details about the employer.

Who is the actual employer of this vacancy?

This varies but it is never IT-Contracts. We are the best marketplace for IT projects (contracting jobs) in the Netherlands but we are not an employer or agency ourselves. When you are logged in (membership is free) you can see the details about the company that has posted the job on our site. This can range from IT companies to agencies and so called "end clients".

I'm about to apply to a job. When will I hear something and what if I don't get any answer?

Your response is send directly to the employer. He/she will inform you about their procedure or will confirm reception of your response. If you don't hear anything please contact the employer directly, their contact details can be found by clicking the company name or logo from the job-details screen.
